Apple & Gruyere Bites

Variety Tip: Use your favourite Ontario apple variety


180g Gruyere cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 Honeycrisp apple, cut into 1 inch cubes
Fresh mint leaves
Honey, for dipping
To assemble


  1. Thread an apple cube onto a toothpick, skin side up, followed by 1 mint leaf and gruyere cube. 
  2. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  3. Serve with a small bowl of honey on the side, for dipping.
